Still Human: Reflections of Healthcare Professionals
A storytelling series honoring the human side of healthcare.
Healthcare professionals carry so much within their work; responsibility, presence, care, and often the unseen emotional weight of caring for others.
Through Tendarra, we are gathering reflections from clinicians about how they stay connected to themselves and others in a profession that asks so much of them.
This project is about honoring our lived experiences, not only the challenges of healthcare, but the ways we continue to care, adapt, and find moments of grounding along the way.
If you feel called to share, we would be honored to include your voice.
Ways to Contribute
You can submit in whichever way feels easiest:
• Photo + short written reflection
A photo of you or something that represents a moment you reconnect with yourself (tea after shift, a walk outside, the drive home, a quiet moment, etc.)
• Short video
A simple 30–60 second video sharing your reflection.
• Voice note
A brief audio reflection that we can transcribe into a written excerpt.
Your submission does not need to be polished — authenticity is what matters most.
Submission
Prompt (Optional):
What is something small that helps you return to yourself during or after a demanding shift?
You may also share any reflection about staying connected to yourself or others while working in healthcare.
